hardwaremust be madeby a trainedservicepersonusingpropertools and instructions.
• Removeall ropes,and disableall locks connectedto the door beforeinstallingoperator.
• Installdoor operator7 feet or moreabovethe floor.Mount the emergencyreleaseknob
6 feet abovethe floor.
• DONOTconnectthe operatorto the sourceof poweruntil instructedto do so.
• Locatethe wall consolebutton:A)Within sight of door.B)At a minimumheightof 5 feet
so small childrencannot reachit. C)Awayfrom all movingparts of the door.
• Installthe entrapmentWARNING label nextto the wall buttonor console.Installthe
emergencyreleasetag on,or nextto, the emergencyreleasehandle.
• Theoperatormust reversewhen the door contactsa 1-1/2 inch high object on the floor
at the center ofthe doorway.This is aboutthe size of a 2" x 4" boardlaid flat.
