Lace adds a fanciful, feminine touch to blouses and
lingerie. Table linens and pillows become more
elegant when trimmed with lace.
Fold raw edge of fabric at least 1 o5 cm (5/8")o Place
lace underneath and topstitch with blind hem stitch.
Trim excess fabric close to stitching.

This is used to finish seam allowance on synthetics
and other fabrics that tend to pucker_ The stitch is
also excellent for darning and mending tears,

Place fabric under the presser foot in such a manner
that the edge is slightly inside the right-hand side of
the presser foot. Guide the fabric so that the right-
hand stitches fall at the edge of the fabric.

Position tear under the needle so that the stitch
catches both side.
