Destination in the offroad
area
You can select a destination in a non-dig-
itised area (offroad) via coordinate entry
("Navigation menu: Enter coordinates"
on page 56) or via direct selection on the
map ("Navigation menu: Select on map"
on page 52).
After you have entered the destination and
started route guidance, the Traffic Assist
guides you directly to the digitised road
nearest to the offroad destination.
When you have reached the calculated
point on the digitised road (grey destina-
tion flag), the Traffic Assist indicates the
direction to the offroad destination via a
direction arrow.
Starting point in the offroad
area
If you start route guidance in a non-digi-
tised area, the Traffic Assist displays the
direction of the nearest digitised road.
The point at which you reach the digitised
road is indicated by a grey destination
flag. When you have reached the digitised
road, route guidance continues with
standard instructions.
