Windows 2000

Note:
Administrator's authority is required for installation with
Windows2000.
1.
Make sure that both the printer and the computer are turned OFF.
2.
Connect the fax machine and computer with a parallel interface
cable.
3.
Turn the fax machine and computer ON and allow Windows to
start.
4.
When the [Found New Hardware Wizard] appears, click on
[Cancel].
5.
Go to "Setup program" on page 16.

Windows 98

1.
Make sure that both the printer and the computer are turned OFF.
2.
Connect the fax machine and computer with a parallel interface
cable.
3.
Turn the fax machine and computer ON and allow Windows to
start.
4.
When the [Add New Hardware Wizard] appears, click on [Next>].
Note 1:
If [Insert Disk] dialog appears, go to Step 8.
Note 2:
If [Add New Hardware Wizard] does not appear, go to "Setup
program" on page 16.
5.
Select [Search for the best driver for your device
(Recommended)] and insert the Multi-Interface Kit CD-ROM into
your CD-ROM drive.
6.
Select [Specify a location] and type D:\DRIVER\SETUP\DISK1
(where D: is the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive) and click on
[Next>].
7.
Confirm the printer name and click on [Finish].
