The powercontrolturns the unit on and off.
Warning Light +
Condensedwater may accumulate in the untt. It the
internal tank becomesfull, the Warning Lightw_llshine
and the unit will not operate until the unit has been;
drained. See Draiping ExcessWater section ,,for
instructions on how to drain the water.
Mode Control
The Mode Controlhas4,settings:
Coot,Heat, Dehumidify and Fan.
The settings are adjusted_vith the Mode Control:, -,
bu_on. A light will indicate whichsettingis currently_
being used.
Cool Mode
When Cool mode iss'etected, t he ind{cator light
will shinegreen. During the cooling modethe air
iscooledand hot air is exhaustedto the outside
air through the exhausttube. Adjustfan speec_
andtemperature_tosuityour desiredcomfort
eveLNote; The air exchangehosesmust vent
outsidethe room when usingCoolMode.
Heat Mode
When the Heat modeis selected the indicatorlight
will shinered. Heatedair is circulated throughout
the room.Adjustfan speedand temperature to
suityourdesired comfortlevel.
Note:The air exchangehosesmustvent insidethe
roomwhen using Heat Model
Caution:Heat/Coolmodelsor unitswith electric
heat aredesignedto be usedonly as a
supplemental h eat source, T hey shouldbe used
in addition to regularheatingsystems and never
asthe primarysourceof heat,

Dehumidify Mode
When Dehumidifymode'is selected,the indicator
light wi!l shineorange.Air is dehumidifiedasit
passes t hrough the unit, without being in full
coolingmode.Thefan speed iSnot adjustable
underthe Dehumidificationmode while the room
temperature is below 78°F(26°C).
Fan Mode !-
When Fa_+'mode is sei'ectedthe LEDlight will shine
yeltow_+_rjscircula:tedthroughout the room with
no cooling;(Note, _unit+'_o_s n ot needto bevented' '

The Fan SpeedControl has-3settings:
High, M_dium, andLow.
Timer Control
Auto turn off:
With machine poweredon, presstimer button to
selectnumberof hoursyouwould like the unit to
run in air conditioning mode until it automaticaUy
,shutsoff.
Auto turn on:
With machinepoweredoff, presstimer button to
selectnumberof hoursuntil you would likethe
unit to automaticallystart runningin air
conditioning mode.
TempiTimer Set Controls
Usedfor adjusting the timer and thermostat.
Thedefault displayisroom temperature.
In cooling mode, when %" 6r "-" button ispressed
the set temperatureis displayedandmay be adjusted.
After 1S secondsthe display will revertback to room
temperature.Temperatureis adjustabfein Cool, Heat
and Dehumidifymodes.
Note: By pressing both Temp/_limer Set buttons
on the unit at the same time for S seconds, the
display will toggle between Celsius and
Fahrenheit.
