Remove the backing from the seal strip
(ITEM H) and attach the strip to the underside of the
upper guide. (FIG. 2)

I_11 Screw the upper guide on the top of the air
conditioner with screws (iTEM E). Insert the sliding
panels into the guides of the air conditioner. Fasten
the curtains to the unit with screws (ITEM E), as
shown FIG 3.

LOCATION OF UNIT IN WINDOW
• Open the window and mark LiNE 1 on the center
of the stool. Then measure 9 1/4" to left of center
(LINE 1) and mark it LINE 2, make another mark
(LINE 3) 1" to right of LINE 2, as you face window
from the room side, as shown in FIG 5.
• Assemble the leveling bolt (ITEM B) and two
locking nuts (ITEM C) to the support sill bracket
(ITEM A) as shown in FIG 6.
Hand tighten only, as some adjustment may be
required later.

Cut the adhesive-backed seal strip (ITEM J) to
the window width.
Remove the backing from the seal strip and attach
the seal strip to the underside of the bottom
window. (FIG. 4)

ATTACH SUPPORT SILL BRACKET
• Attach the support sill bracket to window sill with
screws (ITEM D). Place screws through hole in
support sill bracket, and drive screws into window
stool at LINE 1.
• Readjust the leveling bolt as needed to adjust
height of the outside end of the support sill bracket
to the stool height, as shown in FIG. 6. Using a
bubble-level, the air conditioner should be slightly
(1/2 bubble) lower at rear of the air conditioner so
that it will drain properly. Then tighten lock nuts
with wrench or pliers.
