Locate the old CMOS battery on the system board.

Insert the small flat-blade screwdriver or non-marring tool under the old battery and
gently pry it up until it pops out of the socket.

Make sure the positive (+) side of the new CMOS battery is facing up, then press
the battery into the socket until it snaps into place.

Reassemble the notebook. Replace the battery and modular bay component.
Connect the AC adapter and modem and network cables, then turn on the notebook.
