If the modular bay contains the secondary battery, remove the secondary battery
by following the instructions in
page 10.

Remove the hard drive kit screw.

Slide the old hard drive kit out of the notebook.

If replacing the hard drive in the hard drive kit, replace the hard drive by following
the instructions in

Slide the new hard drive kit into the notebook.
