Remove the three screws that secure the fingerprint reader shield and the attached
EMI shield to the notebook.

Turn the fingerprint reader assembly so that the board is facing up.

Remove the single screw that secures the board to the fingerprint reader shield.

Place the new board on the fingerprint reader shield, aligning the holes for the screw.
Secure the board to the fingerprint reader shield with the single screw.

Replace the three screws that secure the fingerprint reader shield to the notebook.

Reassemble the notebook.

Replace the main battery and secondary battery (if installed). Connect the AC
adapter and modem and network cables, then turn on the notebook.
