Inviting Users And Setting User Security Privileges

You can use the license portal to invite users into a group or subgroup and to set security privileges for those users.
NOTE: You must have administrative rights to invite, remove, or edit a user.
As an administrator, you can perform the following actions for a user:
Set privileges
If you set lower privileges, all subgroups is affected.
Revoke privileges
Selecting this option removes the user from the group. If the group is a root group, the user
account is completely removed from the system.
To invite users and set user security privileges:
1.
On the License Portal Home page, select a group in the left navigation area.

Expand the Users area, and then click Invite New User.
The Invite New User dialog box is displayed.

In the Invite New User dialog box, enter the following information:

Last Name
User ID
User Rights

Click Add.
In the Users area, you can see the user, the assigned privileges, the e-mail address for the user, and the last time
the user logged on to the license portal.

NOTE: The e-mail address you enter must be unique and never previously used to
register on the license portal. This is a required entry.
Used to set the privilege level to control access to license portal content. Select the
appropriate rights to assign to the user. You can choose from the following:
Admin — Provides full access to portal content including the ability to create,
edit, and delete users, groups, cores, and agents.
Read Only — Provides view-only access to portal content.
View Groups Only — Limits access to viewing a list subgroups.
