Change The Display Name In Appassure; Update Trusted Sites In Internet Explorer - Dell PowerVault DL4000 User Manual

1. Start AppAssure Core services.
2. Double-click the AppAssure 5 Core icon on the desktop to open your browser.
NOTE: The browser opens the AppAssure core using the old server name.
3. In the browser replace the old server name with the new <server name:8006>.
For example, https://<servername:8006/apprecovery/admin/Core.
4. The AppAssure Management page is displayed under the new server name.
5. Save the link to your favorites and copy the link to the desktop and to the programs menu.

Change The Display Name In AppAssure

To change the display name:
1. Log in to the AppAssure Console as administrator.
2. Select the Configuration tab, and then click the change button on the General bar.
3. Enter the new Display Name and click OK.

Update Trusted Sites In Internet Explorer

To update the trusted sites in Internet Explorer:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. If the File, Edit View, and other menus are not displayed, press <F10>.
3. Click the Tools menu, and select Internet Options.
4. In the Internet Options window, click the Security tab.
5. Click Trusted Sites and then click Sites.
6. In Add this website to the zone, enter https://[Display Name], using the new name you provided for the Display
Name.
7. Click Add.
8. Click Close and then OK.
