Probable Causes
Incorrect display option selected.
Open drain valve or problem with
latching circuits
Frypot temperature is more than
410°F (210°C) or, in CE countries,
395°F (202°C).
Problem with the temperature
measuring circuitry including the
probe.
Oil temperature above acceptable
range or a problem with the
temperature measuring circuitry.
Open drain valve or problem with
latching circuits
The temperature probe has failed.
Corrective Action
Digital controllers are manually set
to display in one temperature scale
or the other. Refer to the separate
Frymaster Fryer Controllers
User's Manual for instructions on
changing the display.
Verify that the drain valve is fully
closed. If the drain valve is fully
closed, the problem is within the
latching circuitry and is beyond the
scope of operator trouble shooting.
Call FASC.
This in an indication of a
malfunction in the temperature
control circuitry, including a
failure of the high limit thermostat.
Shut the fryer down immediately
and call FASC.
