7. Push up the lever on the right side of the printer. Grab the drum cartridge by the
handle, and pull it up and out slowly.
Important
• Do not touch the inside of the printer.
• Be sure to remove the drum cartridge. If you move the printer with the drum cartridge installed, the toner
in the drum cartridge may spill out inside the printer.
• Store the drum cartridge you removed in the aluminum package provided at time of purchase or cover
the drum cartridge with a thick cloth to prevent strong light from hitting it.
8. Pull down the lever on the right. Close the top cover, and then close the front cover.
9. Lift the printer and move it gently. If the printer is to be moved over a long distance,
pack it inside a box.
