4. If you are using a DHCP server in your network, you can
assign an IP address to your scanner server PC automatically
by selecting Obtain an IP address automatically button
and clicking OK. To manually assign an IP address, select
Specify IP address then enter the IP Address and Subnet
Mask. Click OK.

1. Open the Network dialog box. To do this, click the Start
button on the Windows taskbar, select Settings -> Control
Panel and double-click the Network icon in the Control Panel
window.
The Network dialog box appears with the Identification tab
on the top.
2. Click the Protocols tab.
