The following Setup of mailing functions window will

be displayed.
The following table shows the setting details for each item.
Mail Sets whether the mail notification function is to be used or
not.
Notification
ON: The e-mail notification function is used.

OFF: The e-mail notification function is not used.
If this is set to "ON", the following settings can then be
made.
IP address Enter the IP address
server that is to be used for sending mail. If the port number
of SMTP
for the SMTP server has been changed, enter the port
server
number.
The default setting for the SMTP server's port number is
"25". You can enter a valid value from "1" to "65535".
Destination A maximum of three e-mail address for destination
computers can be recorded.

Destination 1 is also used as the e-mail address for sending.

Setting a Use this to select the events that cause a mail notification to
be sent when a problem or warning occurs with the projector.
Notification
You can select one or more of the following.
Event
• Internal error
• Lamp timer failure
• Internal temperature error
• High-speed cooling in progress
• Lamp replacement notification
and the port number for the SMTP
• Fan related error. • Sensor error
• Lamp out • Lamp cover is open
•No-signal
Once the mail notification settings have been

completed, click [OK].
The display will return to the Setup for Network

Projector window, so click [Set].
When the setting finished window appears, click

[OK].
The test message transmission checking window will

be displayed.
You can send a test message to the addresses that have been set.
To send a test message, click [Yes]. If you do not want to send a
test message, click [No].
The subject of the test e-mail message will be "TEST MAIL". It
will contain the following information.
Line 1 : Projector name
Line 2 : IP address that has been set for the projector
Line 3 : TEST MAIL (subject)
