Check the following items each day before
you ride. The time required is minimal, and
these checks will help ensure a safe, reliable
ride.

Fuel: Adequate supply in tank, no fuel leaks
(page 36).
Engine oil: Correct level on sight glass. Add
correct specification oil as required (page 63).
Tires/Wheels: Correct inflation pressures
(when cold). Tread depth/wear (min 0.08 in
(2.0 mm) tread depth), tire/wheel damage
and loose/broken spokes, punctures etc.
