User’s Manual Chapter 2 The Unit Parts 2.1 Touch Panel Display on the Front Panel On-screen display on the left side indicates the current status of TV/Video/Music/Photo, while the touch panel on the right provides quick access to commonly used functions. *The protective film sticker on the touch panel is removable.
Installation and Setup The figure below shows the proper cable connections between AVerLife XVision HD and your audio/video equipments. Use one of the connections (A) ,(B) and (C) below to output the signal to your TV. The (A) (B) (C) connections serve the same purpose; use only one at a time.
*The HDD does not support hot plug and play function. Composite cable (not supplied) 3.1 Inserting and Removing the HDD Before inserting the HDD, please unplug AVerLife XVision HD from the power supply to avoid data loss. Inserting the HDD Step 1: Use your fingertip to flip open the lid on the left of the front panel.
* The HDD does not support hot plug and play function. 3.2 First Start Configuration Wizard The first time you power on the AVerLife XVision HD unit, the Setup Wizard will show automatically as the default picture. The following steps will guide you through to complete the initial configurations: Step 1: Press OK to enter the option menu.
OK to continue the setting. Step 7: Select Scan and press OK. The AVerLife XVision HD will then start to scan Analog TV channels (ATV) in your area. To cancel the scanning process, select Cancel. After the process finished, a list of available channels will be shown. Press OK to continue the setting.
