Install CR123A Lithium batteries as follows.
1. Remove the battery cap by turning it counterclockwise.
2. Check to ensure the o-ring is present. If not, replace it.
3. Observe polarity, as indicated on the outside of the battery
compartment, and insert two 3.0 Volt CR123A Lithium bat-
tery into the battery compartment, plus (+) end first (Figure
2-1).
4. Replace battery cap by pushing and turning it clockwise.
Tighten it firmly to ensure a watertight seal.
2.1.2. EXAMINATION FOR OPERATION
Once batteries are installed to turn your unit on follow these steps:
1. Push ON-OFF button on the scope.
2. Make sure that the luminance in ocular is present.
3. Perform initial calibration of unit. Cover front lens with cap or
hand and push Calibration button to calibrate image.
4. Observe the scene, and adjust the diopter for optimal image
clarity.
Perform a calibration upon every substantial environmental tem-
perature change.
