Problems during iPod playback
Symptom
iPod doesn't operate correctly.
Problems during multi-channel processor connection
Symptom
No sounds are heard.
The volume level will not rise.
Even if multi-channel audio is
selected, 2-channel audio is out-
put.

message recorded.

Cause
Cables are incorrectly connected.
The iPod version is old.

Optical cables are not connected
correctly.
Digital output setting is set to LINE-
AR PCM.

side the normal operating range
This type of disc cannot be played
by this unit
The inserted disc does not contain

All the files on the inserted disc are

Action
Disconnect the cable from iPod. Once iPod
main menu is displayed, connect the cable
again.
Reset the iPod.
Update the iPod version.
