Operating this unit
+6 to –6 is displayed as the level is increased
or decreased.
# You can then select another band and adjust
the level.
Fine-adjusting equalizer curve
You can adjust the center frequency and the Q
factor (curve characteristics) of each currently
selected curve band (EQ-LOW/EQ-MID/
EQ-HI).
! If you make adjustments, CUSTOM curve
is updated.

Use MULTI-CONTROL to select the
equalizer band to adjust.
Refer to Adjusting equalizer curves on the pre-
vious page.

Use MULTI-CONTROL to select EQ-LOW.
Frequency and the Q factor (e.g.,
EQ-LOW 80HZ Q1W) appears in the display.
Refer to Introduction of audio adjustments on
page 38.

Push MULTI-CONTROL left or right to
select the desired frequency.
Each time MULTI-CONTROL is pushed left or
right, frequencies are selected in the following
order:
Low: 40HZ—80HZ—100HZ—160HZ
Mid: 200HZ—500HZ—1KHZ—2KHZ
High: 3KHZ—8KHZ—10kHZ—12KHZ

Push MULTI-CONTROL up or down to
select the desired Q factor.
Each time MULTI-CONTROL is pushed up or
down, Q factor is selected in the following
order:
2W—1W—1N—2N

Adjusting loudness

Loudness compensates for deficiencies in the
low- and high-sound ranges at low volume.

Use MULTI-CONTROL to select
LOUDNESS.
Refer to Introduction of audio adjustments on
page 38.

Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn loudness
on.
Loudness level (e.g., MID) appears in the dis-
play.
# To turn loudness off, press MULTI-CONTROL
again.

Push MULTI-CONTROL left or right to
select a desired level.
Each time MULTI-CONTROL is pushed left or
right, level is selected in the following order:
LOW (low)—MID (mid)—HIGH (high)

Using subwoofer output

This unit is equipped with a subwoofer output
which can be turned on or off.
Also, phase can be selected between normal
and reverse.

Press SW to select SUB W1.
Press SW repeatedly to switch between the
subwoofer setting modes in the following
order.
SUB W1 (subwoofer on/off setting) setting
mode—SUB W2 (subwoofer setting) setting
mode
