HU-850 contains an internal 6-disc CD
changer.
Press the CD shortcut key or turn the SOUR-
CE knob to activate the CD player. The CD
player resumes with the most recently played
track of the most recently played CD. Up to 6
discs can be inserted in the CD player. An
empty slot in the player must be selected when
inserting a disc.This is done by turning the
PRESET/CD knob. Make sure "LOAD DISC"
is displayed before inserting a new disc.
If you press this button the CD stops and the
disc that was playing is ejected.
NOTE! For traffic safety reasons you have
twelve seconds to handle the ejected CD.
Otherwise, the CD is drawn back into the
player and resumes with the most recently
played track.
Turn the PRESET/CD knob. The disc and track
numbers are shown on the display.
Scan plays the first ten seconds of each track.
Press the SCAN or EXIT button when you
find a song or track you wish to listen to.

Press RND to connect the random function.
A randomly selected track is chosen from a
randomly selected disc. Then a new track is
selected in the same way. "RND" (random) is
displayed as long as the function is activated.
NOTE! If the quality of the CD does not comply
with the standard EN60908, or if it has been
recorded using poor equipment, sound quality
may be poor or playback interrupted.
Use only standard 12 cm CDs - no smaller.
Do not use CDs with a sticker label.
Heat from the CD player could cause the
label to let loose from the disc,
possibly damaging the CD player.
