NOTE! The maximum permitted trailer weights stated are the ones
that the Volvo Car Corporation allows. Remember that national
vehicle regulations may further limit the trailer weight and speed.
The towbars can be certified for higher towing weights than what
the car may tow.
The highest permitted trailer weight
for a trailer with brakes
0-1200 kg.................................................... 50 kg
1201-1600 kg.............................................. 75 kg
1601-1800 kg.............................................. 75 kg
If you do not follow the given recommendations, the trailer and car
may be difficult to control during evasive manoeuvres and braking,
which can be dangerous to you and others on the road.

ball pressure
If your car is equipped with automatic level control, the rear end will
always have the right height while driving irrespective of the load. The
rear end drops when the car is at a standstill, which is quite normal. When
starting with a load, the level is pumped up after a certain distance.
