Airbag (SRS) on the driver's
side
The car has an SRS airbag (Supplemental
Restraint System) in the steering wheel to
supplement the protection afforded by the
seatbelt. This airbag is fitted folded up into the
centre of the steering wheel. The steering wheel
is marked SRS AIRBAG.
The seatbelts and airbags interact. If a
seatbelt is not used or is used incorrectly,
this may diminish the protection provided by
the airbag in the event of a collision.
