Select Open in the File menu to open your RPMX file.
Once an RPMX file has been opened in RPMLoader, the file can be edited and the files indicated in the RPMX
file can be transferred to a target NetLinx Master. After making changes to your RPMX file, select Save in the
File menu to update all of your changes.

Connecting to a NetLinx Master

Your packaged RPMX file comes with the communications setting already defined. In fact, if you are using a
RPM-generated RPMX Project file, you should not have to configure communication settings at all.
However, if you need to select a different IP/URL address for your control system, select the Communication
Settings option in the Start Tasks window (FIG. 5):

Use the Connect To Master dialog to configure communications and connect to a NetLinx Master. See the
Communication Settings / Connecting To a NetLinx Master section on page 9 for details.

Transferring the Project Files

If the communication settings have been set to establish a connection between your PC and target NetLinx
Master, you can transfer all the project files.
If the RPM Project includes connection information for the target NetLinx Master (as set in the RPM Web
Application), there is no need to re-configure the connection settings for the Project. In this case, the
Communication Settings for the target NetLinx Master are indicated in the Master field (FIG. 6):

In this case, verify the File Transfer List and click Start File Transfers.
If the RPM Project does not have connection information, then the Start File Transfers button is disabled, and
the Master field indicates that no communication settings have been selected for this project (FIG. 7):
