Modem Port Settings dialog

With Modem selected as the Transport Connection Option, click Settings in the Communications Settings
dialog to open the Modem Port Settings dialog (FIG. 53):

Phone Number Enter the phone number to be dialed for connection.

Virtual NetLinx Master Settings dialog

With Virtual NetLinx Master selected as the Transport Connection Option, click Settings in the
Communications Settings dialog to open the Virtual NetLinx Master Settings dialog (FIG. 53):

Click to save changes and close this dialog.
Click to discard changes and close this dialog.
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose between available COM ports.
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose the baud rate of your COM port
from the list (suggested setting = 38400).
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose the Data Bits
(suggested setting = 8).
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose the parity
(suggested setting = none).
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose the Stop bit(s)
(suggested setting = 1).
Click the down arrow to open a menu where you can choose the Flow Control
(suggested setting = none).
Click to save changes and close this dialog.
Click to discard changes and close this dialog.
