9.1

MICROCOM GRAPHICS CONVERSION UTILITIES

PCX2465.EXE
This PC software program decodes PCX files and converts them to the Microcom Bitmap
format which can be stored in the 465 printer. See Chapter 4.5.2 and 6 for more information
about printing graphic images.
PCX2BIT.EXE
This PC software program decodes PCX files and converts them to a bitmap that can be
directly downloaded and printed on the 465 or 465 printers. See Chapter 4.5.2 and 6 for
more information about printing graphic images.
9.2

MICROCOM SOFT FONT UTILITY

JET2465.EXE
This PC software program converts LaserJet II™ compatible soft fonts to the Microcom
MSF format. Converted soft fonts may be stored in non-volatile memory for future use. See
Chapter 8 for more information on soft fonts.
9.3

ADDITIONAL SOFT FONTS

Microcom caries a full line of typefaces which can easily be downloaded by the user. Up to
8 fonts may be stored in permanent battery backed memory and up to 16 may be stored in
temporary memory. Contact Microcom for a complete list of available typefaces and point
sizes.
9.4

WYSIWYG SOFTWARE PACKAGES

WYSIWYG Software packages, available through Microcom, offer true WYSIWYG (What
You See Is What You Get) label designing. These are available in different levels. Some
features include:
- On Screen Label Representation
- Database Capabilities
- Label Productivity Reports
- Graphic Capabilities
- Serial Number Database
