Setting
the gray level for the sides
of the screen
Use this procedure
to set the gray level for 1he parts on the
screen on which nothing
is displayed
when the screen
is
set to the 4:3 size,
Example: Adjusting the "GRAY LEVEL"
Press
the PROCEED
button
on the remote
control
to
display
the MAIN MENU
on the screen, then...
i. Use the • and • buttons
to select "FUNCTION",
then
press the PROCEED
button,
The "FUNCTION"
screen appears,
2. Use 1he • and • buttons
to select "GRAY LEVEL",
Setting
the picture
to suit the movie
The film image is automatically
discriminated
and
projected in an image mode suited to 1he picture.
[NTSC, PAL, PAL60, 4801 (60Hz), 525I (60Hz), 576I
(50Hz), 625I (50Hz), i0351 (60Hz), i0801 (60Hz) only]
Example: Setting the "CINEMA MODE" to "OFF"
Press
the PROCEED
button
on the remote
control
to
display
the MAIN
MENU on the screen,
then...
i. Use the • and • buttons
to select "FUNCTION",
then
press the PROCEED
button,
The "FUNCTION"
screen appears,
2. Use the • and • buttons
to select "CINEMA
MODE".
3. To adjust
the "GRAY LEVEL"...
Use die • and • buttons
to adjust the GRAY LEVEL.
3. To set the CINEMA
MODE
to "OFF"
...
Use the • and • buttons
to select "OFF",
The mode switches
as follows
each time the • or •
button
is pressed:

4. Once the setting is completed...
Press the EXIT button to return to the main menu.
To delete the main menu, press the EXIT button once
more.
