HOWTOTURN THESYSTEM MODEFUNCTION ONANDOFF
On the system
mode function
The system mode function is used to internally separate the
TV tuner section from the Monitor sect=on of the Projection
Monitor
This allows the TV signal to be sent through an AV
ampNier before being displayed on screen.
The system mode function can be used to connect all your
audio and video components, including the Proiection Moni-
tor. to your AM amplifier,
and control the operations of all of
them with the AV amplifiers
remote control unit.
Attention:
eThe input selector is automatically set to LD or TV mode
when the system mode is engaged.
When the system mode is on, the input selector of the Pro-
jection Monitor will not change when the input select button
is pressed
eWhen using system mode, be sure to turn this function off.
The input selector wilt resume normal operation when sys-
tem mode is turned off'. Follow the instructions
below to
turn the system mode function on and off.
elf the built-in speakers of the Projection Monitor are being
used as the center channel speaker for the surround sound
system, the Proieotion Monitor volume must be set to its
maximum position (63).
eWhen resetting the Projection Monitor after system mode
is turned off. set the volume control to its minimum position
first.

Notes on system
mode
When system mode is engaged, the only pictures that can be
displayed as a sub-p}cture are television broadcast pictures.
When system mode is selected, the menu dispiay appears on
the screen. To make the menu display disappear, press the
MENU ON/OFF button.
NOTE:
• Check the power of the Projection Monitor before and after
using it. Be sure you turn the power of the Projection Moni-
tor on and off with the remote control unit of the Projection
Monitor.
