PROPERINSTALLATION
This drbter must be properlbt installed and located in accordance
with the Installation
Instructions
before it is used. If btou did not receive an Installation

I Properlyground dryer to conform with all governing
codes and ordinances. Follow details
in Installation Instructions.
I Install or store where it will not be exposed to
temperatures below freezing or exposed to
the weather.
I Connect to a properly rated, protected and sized
power supply circuit to avoid electrical overload.
I Remove the colored protective film from both the
control panel and the door.
I Remove all sharp packing items and dispose of all
shipping materials properly.
I Do not remove the vent protector from the buck of
the dryer (on some models).
I Pull the protector out and down to its lowest
position and connect the exhaust duct to the dryer.
The lowered protector will prevent the duct from
getting crushed (on some models).
I Keep area around the exhaust opening and
adjacent surrounding areas free from the
accumulation of lint, dust, and dirt.
Exhaust/Ducting:
r-_ Dryers MUSTbe exhausted to the outside to
prevent large amounts of moisture and lint from
being blown into the room.
r_] use only rigid metal 413 diameter ductwork inside
the dryer cabinet and use only ULapproved
transition ducting between the dryer and the
home duct. USEOF PLASTIC OROTHER
COMBUSTIBLE DUCTWORK CANCAUSE A FIRE.
PUNCTURED DUCTWORK CAN CAUSE A FIREIF IT
COLLAPSES O RBECOMES OTHERWISE
