The gasket is designed with a gap
at the bottom to allow for proper air
circulation.
Do not rub or clean the door gasket-it
has an extremely low resistance to
abrasion.
If you notice the gasket becoming
worn, frayed or damaged in any way
or if it has become displaced on the
door, you should have it replaced.
Cleaning
the Oven
Door
To clean the inside of the door:
Because the area insidethe gasketis cleaned
duringthe self-cleancycle,
you do not needto cleanthis by hand.
Thearea outsidethe gasketand the door liner
can be cleanedwith a soap-filled
or plasticscouringpad,hot water and
detergent.Rinse wellwith a vinegar
and water solution.
Tocleantheoutsideof thedoor:
Usesoapand water to thoroughlycleanthetop,
sidesand front of the ovendoor.Rinse well.You
may alsousea glasscleanerto cleantheglass
on theoutsideof the door.Donot let water drip
into the vent openings.
tf anystain on the doorvent trim ispersistent,
usea softabrasivecleaner
and a sponge-scrubber for bestresults.
Spillage of marinades, f ruitjuices,tomato
saucesand bastingmaterialscontainingacids
maycausediscoloration and should
bewipedup immediately. Whensurfaceis
cool,cleanand rinse.
Donot useovencleaners, c leaningpowdersor
harshabrasives on the outsideof the door.

a smallflat-bladescrewdriver, m ay be required.
Firmlygraspbothsidesof the door
at the top.

Close door to the door removalposition, w hich
is halfwaybetweenthe broilstop positionand
fully closed.

Lift door up and out untilthe hingearm
is clearof the slot.
Toreplacethe door:
Firmlygrasp both sides of the door

hingeslot.The
notch in the hingearm must befully seated
intothe bottomof the slot.

the bottomedgeof the slot.
