POSSIBLE CAUSE
• Icemaker power switch is in the I (on) position, but the water
supply
to the refl'igerator has not been connected. Set the power switch
to the 0
(off)
position. Keeping it in the I (on) position will damage
the water wove.
• Old cubes need to be discarded.
• Ice storage bin needs to be emptied and washed.
• Unsealed packages in fl'esh fi)od and/or fl'eezer compartments may
be transmitting odor/taste to ice cubes.
• Interior of refl'igerator needs cleaning. See Care and Cleaning.
• X*Vater filter clogged. Replace the filter or use the filter byi)ass plug.
• Door may have been left open.

• Ice cubes are fl'ozen to the icemaker feeler arm. Remove the cubes.
• Irregular clmnps in the storage bin. Break up with fingertip pressure
and discard remaining clmnps. The fl'eezer may be too warm. A(!just
the freezer temperature control colder one step at a time until clmnps
(lo not l()I'Ill,
• The dispenser is I,OCKED. Press and hold the CONTROI, I,OCK pad
fin" 3 seconds.
• An item is blocking or has tallen into the ice chute inside the top
door bin of the fl'eezer. Remove any item that might be blocking
or has tallen into the chute.
• X_'ater dispenser has not been used for a long time. Dispense water
tmtil all water in the system has been replenished.
• Normal when refl'igerator is first installed. Allow 24 horn's fi_r the
refl'igerator to completely cool down.
• _'ater dispenser has not been used for a long time. Dispense water
tmtil all water in the sx:steln has been replenished.
• _,Vater system has been drained. Allow several hours fi)r the
replenished water supply to chill.
