The icemaker
will produce
seven
cubes
per cycle--approximately
100-130
cubes
in a 24-horn _period,
depending
on freezer

conditions.
If the refl'igerator
is operated
betore
the water
connection
is made
to the icemakei;
set the
power
switch in the 0 (off) position.
When
the refrigerator
has been
connected
to
the water
supply;
set the power
switch to the
I (on) position.
The icemaker
will fill with water when
it cools to
15°F (-I 0°C). A newly installed
refl'igerator
may
take 12 to 24 horn's
to begin
making
ice cubes.
You will hear a buzzing
sound
each time
the
icemaker
fills with water.

Throw

of ice to allow
the water
line to clear.
Be sure
nothing
interteres
with
the
sweep
of
the
ti_eler
arm.
When
the bin fills to the level of the teeler
arm,
the icemaker
will stop producing
ice. It is
normal
lot several
cubes
to be.joined
together.
If ice is not used frequentl>
old ice cubes will
become
cloud>
taste stale and
shrink.
Special
notes:
• Dispenser
models
have a tilt-out
ice bin.
The bin can be tilted
out as shown
in the
illustrations,
and it will hold
itself up while
wm take ice out or turn the icelnaker
power
switch on and
ott. Be sure to put the bin
back in place
betore
closing
the door.
• To restore
your ice level from
an empty
bucket
stage,
the following
steps are
recommended:
1 19 horn's after the first batch
of ice has
tallen
into
the bin, dispense
3 to 4 cubes.
2 After an additional
(k hours,
disl)ense
3 to 4 cubes
again.
These
steps will restore
vom" ice level in the
shortest
amount
of time.
NOTE:

pres_ure, you may hear the ieemaker o'ele multiple
time,_ wher_ makiz_g" o_w batch o/ice.
Toaccess ice or reach
the power switch:
I Lift the bin, thenpull it forward
until the bin stops.
2 Lower the bin to access ice or
reach the power switch.
ROTE: In order to take full
advantage of the tilt-out ice bin,
only store items on the shelf below
the ice bin that are no taller than
the lowest point on the bin.
