. The Ethernet User-defined VLANs Edit window opens. The window is identical to the
VLAN Table Insert window.

Edit the required fields.

Click
to update the device.
6.
Close the VLAN Table Edit window.
To delete an Ethernet user-defined VLAN:
1.
Display the Ethernet User-defined VLANs window.
2.
Select an entry in the table.
3.
Click
. The entry is deleted.
4.
Click
to update the device.

Configuring Ports

Port Properties

Use the Port Properties window to define parameters for the port selected in the front panel display or
from the Select Port Number field in the Port Properties window.
Note: The Port Properties window can also be accessed by clicking
toolbar, or by right-clicking the selected port, or by pressing Ctrl+T.
To display the Port Properties screen:
♦ Select Device > Port > Port Properties. The Port Properties window opens. The Port
Properties window has the following five tabs:
Main – Defines the general port settings including MAC address, port type, port
description, speed, administration status, port status, and full or half duplex modes.
Other – Defines the back-pressure and flow control modes.
VLAN – Defines the VLAN settings on a port.
IP – Displays the IP addresses and network masks for a selected port.
IPX – Displays the network addresses and network masks for a port
The default opening screen is the Main tab. The following paragraphs illustrate and describe each
screen tab.
The following figure illustrates the Port Parameters window Main tab.
