Line 2 Inputs Remote Sensor
CH 3-4 Selects the VCR's output channel. Press and hold EJECT,then press
TVNCR.
CHANNEL-TRACKING Up or Down Selects next higher or lower channel in
the VCR's channel memory. Adjusts tracking when a tape is playing.
D-VHS Selects recording preference. Will make a digital recording if a digital
satellite signal is present and a D-VHS tape is inserted in the recorder.
EJECT Ejects the tape when the VCR is stopped.
INPUT Selects between the line inputs and VCR's tuner. When connected to a
digital satellite receiver, line input refers to the signal coming from the
component connected to the audio/video input jacks on the back of the VCR.
The rear input jacks are LINE 1; the front LINE 2.
PAUSE Pauses action for viewing during playback. Pauses recording to prevent
recording of unwanted scenes.
PLAY Plays a tape.
POWER Turns the VCR on or off.
RECORD Starts VCR recording. Also used for express recording.
Remote Sensor Receives signals from the remote control. Aim the remote at
this sensor.
ShutL4:le Ring When a cassette is playing, allows visual search in either
direction. When cassette is stopped, operates as fast-forward and reverse.
STOP Stops the normal functions such as record, playback, rewind, fast-
forward, or pause.
TVeVCR Switches the picture signal so that it either comes from the VCR or the
antenna/cable system.
