Make sure the file is a true rap3 file, You can onl) play true MP3 files fil the DVD lvcorder--some products use software to compress rap3 files at}d cot}vert them to
other formats such as MPX. Your DVD recorder wodt recognize or play MPX files or other fi_q)es o f converted rap3 files, Also, if the rap3 file is copy protected from a

When naming rap3 files, doI_'texceed 12 characters, and et/rer ,rap3 as the file extension. When usirlg a general name format ofi Tide.rap3, make sure the tide is 8
characters or less, don't use spaces, and don't use spedal characters (such as, -. +, 1, %, &, etc,),

160 kb/sec, Howevel; choosillg higher rate_ like 192 kb/sec or mo_, only rarely give even better smmd qualit> Coilvel_ely, files with sampling rates below 128 kb/sec
won't be plaped.
Can't get to DVD recorder's
main menu

Press tile STOP button until the mahl menu appears or press the left arrow button to return to the previotl; menu. If dlat doesn't work, remove file rap3 disc from the
disc tray.
Can't make the Info Display appear

The Irlfo Disphyis only avadable whell phying DVD discs, Video CDs, and watchb/gTV, It does riot appear when viewirlg JPEGS in browser mode.

DVD recorder to the corresponding satellite / cable box chatmel (usually channel 2, 3, or 4), Remember, the DVD recorder must be tulled to tile appropriate blptlt that

Lost the remote control

To order a new remote cor_trol, go to pah_e 42. The buttons on the front oftke DVD recorder operate die DVD recorder's basic fmxctions, but you wodt be able to
usethe menu system without tile remote col/trol. The buttons on the front of the unit are described oil page 7. Also, if you have another RCA, GE, or Proscan braild
product with a remote cotltrol that hiesa DVD button, some of tile burtons will probably operate this product if you press the DVD button first.
