playback
features

• Using special effects,
• Adjusting
the tracking,

Using special effects
You can use the shuttle
ring and the jog dial on the front panel, or
the shuttle
ring and ADJUST
dial on the remote
to control
the
playback
speed of the tape.

While the VCR is playing
a tape, press the PAUSE button
to
freeze the picture
on the ,;creen.
Turn the shuttle
:ring and ihold it for the desired
playback
speed (see the chart to the left). If you re] ease the ring, it will
come back to the center position,
and the still (PAUSE)
mode
will resume.
To resume
normal
playback,
press the PI.AY button.
