Selecting
the AV memory
position
_>Important:

Your TV has four AV memories.
AV memorie.,; are pre-set
picture
and sound (except for stereo/SAP)
adjustments
that
are optimized
for different
types of programs
and viewing conditions.
You can change
these
memories
as often as you like. You can also
change
the individual
audio/video
settings
(bass, tint, etc.) for each
memory
position.
See "Adjusting
the sound"
and "Adjusting
the picture"
in this
chapter
for information
on adjusting
individual
audio/video
set-
tings for the currently
selected
AV memory
position.
The AV memory
positions
are:

Optimized
for typical
broadcast
television
Optimized
for movies
Optimized
for a dimly lit room
Optimized
for a brightly
lit room
You can select one of the four memories
using the menus
or the AV
MEMORY
button.
A/V memory
positions
and settings
are specific to the currently
selected
input.
For example,
you can set Input
1 to use A/V
memory
position
1 for broadcast
television
and set Input 2 to use
A/V memory
position
2 for watching
movies cn your VCR. When
you switch
inputs,
the A/V memory
positioJ_ that was last used for
the input
is automatically
selected.
