Understanding the 3-D Graphic ViewPoint ® on-
screen menus
_Important:
One of the distinctive features of this TV is Mitsubishi's exclusive
3-D Graphic ViewPoint On-Screen Operating System.
Unlike other television menus systems, 3-D Graphic ViewPoi_Lt
includes a special Picture-in-Picture screen to let you view the TV
picture while you move through the menu items.
Additionally, your television's 3-D Graphic ViewPoint menu system
includes a comprehensive help system if you need assistance
understanding a menu option. Simply select the menu option and
press the INFO button on your remote control to display help text.
3-D Graphic ViewPoint also provides step-by-step instructions for
using some of the TV's special capabilities.
When using the 3-D Graphic ViewPoint system, please keep the
following in mind:
• The selected menu is indicated in blue, and the setting item in
yellow.
• The on-screen menu turns off if no item is selected within 4
minutes.
• Some on-screen menu items must be set before other items are
available. For example, "Timer" is only available if "Clock
Settings" under the Setup menu is set.
• You can exit the on-screen menus any time hy pressing the
MENU button repeatedly. You then return to regular TV
viewing.
• You can also exit the on-screen menus by pressing the HOME
button on the remote control.
If you press the VOLUME, AUDIO, VIDEO or MENU buttons
while the TV is receiving a very weak signal, the background image
may be eliminated to stabilize the on-screen display. You can press
the HOME button to return to the normal TV viewing.
