Top of Receiver
before you begin, you should:
• have completed
all connections
between
your
VCR, TV, and
cable or antenna;
(see pages 11-16) and
• make
sure that
your
satellite
receiver
has been installed
correctly.
(See your
sar_ellite receiver's
manual
for more
information.)

Place the satellite
receiver
on top of your VCR. Align the rear
of the receiver
with the rear of the VCR and align the left side
of the receiver
with the left side of the VCR. If your VCR is
smaller
than your satellil;e
receiver
you will need to purchase
an IR emitter
(part name :IR EMITTER)
from your Mitsubishi
dealer.
Connect
an audio cable to the left audio output
terminal
on
the receiver;
connect the other end of the cable to the terminal
on the rear panel of the VCR labeled
AUDIO IN.
Connect
a video cable to the video output
terminal
on the
receiver;
connect the other end of the cable to the terminal
on
the rear of the VCR labeled

DImportant:
You will have to turn your VCR on to watch the video signal or to
hear the audio signal from the satellite
receiver.
[_Important:
After you have connected
the satellite
receiver
and completed
the
"Memorize
Channels"
procedure
(on pages 29-32), you need to see
if your VCR can control
your receiver.
To do ';his, use the CHAN-
NEL buttons
or number
buttons
on the VCR :emote
to tune to a
satellite
channel.
If the satellite
channels
api_ear on your TV,
then your VCR can control your receiver.
If t.lhey don't appear,
you will need to purchase
an IR emitter
(part. name: IR EMIT-
TER) from your Mitsubishi
dealer.
