1. Using 2ormore people, setrange h ood ontoitsback ona
covered s urface.
2. Push inthebottom ofthecenter glass t ounlatch, andliftto
open. Remove the2screws thathold ittothecanopy. Setthe
glass c over a ndthemounting screws a side.
6. Remove the4screws h olding t heblower motor t othecanopy
top.Push blower uptorelease themounting tabs from the
keyhole slots. R emove blower motor. Setblower motor a nd
mounting screws a side.

A. Remove these
screws.
Remove metal filter. See the "Range Hood Care" section.
Disconnect the blower wiring plug.

7. Remove the 4 screws from the cover plate on the back of the
canopy.
8. Install cover plate over the rectangular top exhaust hole using
its 4 mounting screws. Tighten screws.

Remove the 4 mounting screws holding the 8" (20.3 cm)
diameter transition damper to the canopy top. Set the
damper and mounting screws aside.
