Control Knobs
Thecontrol knobsmay be removed for easier
cleaning.
Make sure tile knobs are in tile OFF
positions and pull tl/em straight off tile
stems for cleaning.
Tile knobs can be cleaned in a
dishwasher or they may also be washed
with soap and wamx: Make sure the insides
ot the knobs are (h T betore replacing.
Replace the knobs in the OFFposition
to ensure proper placement.
Painted Surfaces
Painted surfi_ces include tile sides,
control panel, door and kick panel.
Clean these with soap and water or a
vinegar and water solution.
Do not use commercial oven cleaners,cleansing
powders, steel wool or harsh abrasiveson any
painted sufface.
Porcelain Oven Interior
With proper care, the porce/alb enamel interior
will retalb its attractive finish for many years.
Soap and water will nommllv do the job.
Hea\ T spattering or spillove_ may
require cleaning with a mild abrasive
cleanse_: Soapy, wet pads may also be
used. Do not allow tood spills with a high
sugar or add content (such as milk,
tomatoes, sauerkraut, fl'uitjuices or pie
filling) to remain on tile s/wlilce. They
may cause dull spots even after cleaning.
Household ammonia may make the
cleaning job easier. Place 1/2 cup
ammonia in a shallow glass pan and leave
in a cold oven overnight. Tile ammonia
tirades will hel I) loosen tile burned-on
grease and food.

package directions.
Cautions about using spray-on oven

• Do not spray tile oven cleaner on the
electrical controls and switches because
it could cause a short circuit and result
in sparking or fire.
• Do not directly spray oven cleaner
onto tile oven heating elements.
• Do not allow a fihn fi'om the
cleaner to remain on tile temperature
sensm_it could cause tile oven to
heat improi)edy. (Tile sensor is located
at tile top of tile oven.) Careflfllv

• Do not spray any oven cleaner on tile
outside oven dora; handles or any
