MAKING A LARGE PANEL CUT
See Figure67,
Make sure the saw is properly secured to a work
surface to avoid tipping from the weight of a large
panel.
_1,
WARNING:
Make sure the blade guard is
lowered over the blade and is working properly to
prevent possible injury.
Place a support the same height as top of saw
table behind the saw for cut work. Add supports to
the sides as needed,
Depending on the shape of panel, use rip fence or
miter gage. If panel is too large to use either rip
fence or miter gage, it is toe large for this saw.
WARNING:
Never make freehand cuts (cuts
without the miter gage or rip fence), which can
result in serious injury,
Make sure wood does not touch blade before you
turn on saw. Let blade obtain full speed before
feeding wood into blade.
When work is completed, press switch off and
remove switch key.
