Set miter gage to O" if needed. Loosen miter gage
knob and use indicator on the miter gage. Re-
tighten miter gage knob.
Place a support the same height as top of saw
table behind the saw for cut work.
Make sure wood is clear of blade before turning on
saw. Insert switch key and lift switch to ON posi-
tion. Let blade obtain full speed before feeding
wood into blade with miter gage.
Hold the work firmly against the miter gage and
push the miter gage to feed the work into the blade.
When work is completed, press the switch off and
removethe
key.

Try this cut on a piece of scrap wood before cutting
your workpiece, Usa a pushstick to move small pieces
of wood into and past the blade.

WARNING:
Make sure the blade guard is
lowered and is working properly to prevent
possible injury.
Set blade angle by loosening bevel lock handle
and turning bevel handwheel. Retighten blade lock
handle.

WARNING:
When making a bevel rip cut, the
rip fence must be on the right side of the blade.
Otherwise the fence could trap the workpiece,
possibly causing kickback and resulting in injury.
Attach rip fence on the right side of the blade at
correct distance from blade for cut. Use fine adjust-
ment knob on front rail.
Place a support the same height as the top of saw
table behind the saw for the cut work.

WARNING:
NEVER stand directly in the line of
cut. Stand to the side to reduce the risk of injury
should kickback occur.
Make sure wood is clear of the blade before turning
on saw. Insert switch key and lift switch to ON
position. Let blade obtain full speed before feeding
workpiece into the blade.

WARNING:
NEVER push a small piece of wood
into the blade with your hand. Use a pushstick as
the end of the workpiece nears the blade to
avoid serious personal injury.
When work is completed, press switch off and
remove switch key.
