Scat the chuck onto the drHU press spindb as far as
it wHU go, Carefully drive the chuck onto the spindb
by pUacing a wooden Mock (K) under the chuck (L)
and tap the Mock up with a hammer (M),
IMPORTANT: DO NOT tap the chuck directly with a
mctaU hammer,

To help reduce the tendency of the drill press to tip
over, slide, or walk, it can be fastened to the floor
surface, The machine base has four hobs (A), one at
each corner where it can be fastened (hardware not
included), See Figure 6-1,
