STANDBY CONFIGURATION (WINDOWS)
In Configuration Panel ‐> Power Option properties:
You must unselect the Standby configuration of your Operating System to be compliant with
the Dell UPS Local Node Manager. With the standby configuration checked your system is
not protected.
If you want to save energy, please prefer the hibernate feature.

DRIVER INSTALLATION
On Windows operating systems
‐ Dell ULNM will install its own USB drivers to: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\libusb0.sys"
‐ If Windows Operating System wants to install a driver from "Windows Update", you can cancel this
process.
On Linux operating systems, no driver installation is required.
2.1.2. ON THE SYSTEM THAT DISPLAYS WEB‐BASED GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE
The Dell UPS Local Node Manager graphical interface can be accessed remotely using a simple Web
browser. Access to this interface can be secured through SSL connection and is also secured through
Login & password.
The Dell UPS Local Node Manager graphical interface has been tested with:
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox 3.0, 3.5, 4, 5
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6(*), 7, 8, 9
(*) IE6 should work but the performance is not optimal
Opera 10
Safari 5.1
For optimal performance, Google Chrome or Firefox 3.6 is recommended.
For good performance, Firefox 3.0 or Internet Explorer 7, 8 are possible.
