3 Tune the television to the video channel.
• See the documentation provided with your television for details.
4 Hold down the[] button to turn on the
camera.
• The camera enters playback mode, and pictures
recorded to the internal memory, or memory card, will
be displayed on the television.
• While the camera is connected to the TV, the monitor
will remain off.

_1_ Notes on Connecting an HDMI Cable
• An HDMI cable is not supplied. Use a third party HDMI cable to connect the camera to a TV, The
output terminal on this camera is a HDMI Mini Connector (Type C), When purchasing an HDMI
cable, be sure that the device end of the cable is a HDMI Mini Connector.
• Toenjoyplaybackin high definition quality when the camera is connected to a television that has
an HDMI connector, we recommend shooting still pictu res with Image size set to [_ 2048xl 536
or higher, and recording movies with Movie options set to _ HD 720p (1280x720) or higher,

• When connecting the audio/video ca hie, be sure that the connectors are oriented correctly. Do not
use force when connecting the audio/vkJeo cable, When disconnecting the audio/vkJeo cable, do
not pull the connector at an angle.
• Do not connect an audio/video cable and HDMI cable to the camera at the same time.
• Do not connect an HDMI cable and USB cable to the camera at the same time.
