Editing function Application
Quick retouch ([_[]]120) ]i' Easily create a copy with enhanced contrast and richer colors.
Create a copy of the current picture with enhanced brightness
D-Lighting ([_]] 21) and contrast, brightening dark portions of the picture.
Skin softening (_]]122) Make the subject's skin appear smoother.
Small picture ([_124) Create a small copy of pictures suitable for use on web pages or
as e_mail attachments.
Black border (_]]125) Create a copy with a black frame along border of the picture that
provides a little more impact.
Crop picture. Enlarge the image or refine the composition and

_1_ Notes on Picture Editing
• Editing other than Black border cannot be performed on pictures shot with Image size (_76) of
3_ 3648x2432,116;9, 3584x2016, and L_ 2736x2736
• This camera's editing functions cannot be used for pictures taken with cameras other than
COOLPIX P100.
• If a copy created using this camera is viewed on cameras other than COOLPI/P100, the picture
may not be displayed or may not be transferred to a computer.
• Editing functions are not available when there is not enough free space in the internal memory or
on the memory card.
• Perform one ofthe following operations before editing a sequence (_102) for which only the key
picture is displayed,
Select a picture while the sequence playback (_102) is paused,
Set Sequence display options (_116) to Individual pictures to display the pictures
individually, and then select a picture.
