Pressing the Shutter-Release Button Halfway/All the Way • Tile camera features a two-stage shutteHelease button. To set focus and exposure, press tile shutter-release button halfway, stopping when you feel resistance. When tile shutter-release button is pressed halfway, focus and exposure (shutter speed and aperture value) are set.

Removing Battery Before opening tile battery< harT_berirT_emorycard slot cover, turn tile camera off (_23) and confirm that tile power-on lamp and tile monitor are off. Charge the supplied Rechargeable Li-ion Battery EN-EL5inserted into the camera, by connecting the supplied Charging AC Adapter EH-69P to the camera via the supplied USBCable UC-E6, and then plugging the Charging AC Adapter into an electrical outlet. Prepare the Charging ACAdapter EH-69P.

Plug the Charging ACAdapter into electrical outlet. The power-on lamp slowly blinks orange to indicate that the battery is charging. About four hours and 50 minutes are required to charge a fully exhausted battery. The following chart explains power-on lamp status when the camera is plugged into the electrical outlet.

The recorded data is stored in the camera's internal memory (approx. 102 MB) or on commercially available Secure Digital (SD) memory cards (_214). Ifa memory card is inserted in the camera, data is automatically stored on the memory card, and data recorded to the memory card can be played back, deleted, or transferred.

Night p0rtrait Use this mode for portraits taken at sunset or at night. Flash is used to illuminate the subject while maintaining the mood of the background.
