_E] D-Lighting: Enhancing Brightness and Contrast
D Lighting car] be used to create copies with enhanced brightness and contrast,
brightening dark portions of a picture. Enhanced copies are stored as separate files.
1 Choose the desired picture from full-frame
([]_[]]32) or thumbnail ([]_[]]104) playback mode
and press the MENU button.
• The playback menu is displayed.
• Switch to the [] tab when the playback menu is not
displayed (_13).

Use the multi selector to choose [nl D-
Lighting and press the _) button,
• The original version will be shown on the left and the
edited version will be shown on the right.
• If the playback menu is displayed from a mode other
than playback mode, choose D-Lighting to display the
picture selection screen (_1 ] 2). Choose an image to
edit and press the _) button.

Choose the extent of the setting using • or
V, and press the _ button,

• A new, edited copy is created.
• To cancel, press the MENU button.
• [)-Lighting copies can be recognized by the _ icon
displayed during playback.
