PICTURE/VOLUME/BACKLIGHT
ADJUSTMENTS
If the picture is difficult to watch c@e to ambient
lighting, etc., or the sound difficult to hear, adjust the
picture and volume.
Set the Operate switch to CAMERA or VCR.
PICTURE/VOLUME ADJUST
Press the
display the picture/volume/backlight control indi-
cators at the bottom of the monitor screen.
To adjust the picture,
ton until the item you wish to adjust (BRIGHT or
COLOUR) is displayed.
To adjust the volume,

To adjust the backlight,

Increase
Press the v or A button to adjust the picture,
volume, or backlight to your preference.

When you are finished, press the PICTURE/VOL-
UME ADJUST button again to turn off the adjust-
ment indicators.
Notes:
In bright daylight, the picture will be easier to watch if you
l
set the backlight ("BACKLIGHT") to "BRIGHT".
The picture adjustments have been factory preset to neu-
l
tral settings, and the backlight mode ("BACKLIGHT") has
been factory preset to normal ("NORMAL").
When the colour is adjusted, the picture on the screen will
l
differ from the picture actually recorded. Do not change
the colour setting unless it is necessary.
